Meet Maarishaa Kumar

Ambitious and hardworking Delhiite Maarishaa Kumar set foot on B-town soil in the hopes of making it big as a movie star. During her college days, she was able to bag a number of print shoots, but Bollywood was beckoning, and she was not one to ignore it. A year and a half has gone by in Mumbai, and several ad campaigns and modelling projects later, things are finally going her way. Talks have been on regarding an overseas film that will be shot by an entirely Indian cast in London. If things go well, the shooting will begin in a couple of months and the film will release sometime next year (in the year 2010).
